How does a Nauta recharge work and what is it for?

Nauta credit is used to access the internet in Cuba — at public ETECSA WiFi zones (parks, hotels, cultural centers) or at home via Nauta Hogar. What Nauta Hogar plans are available and how much do they cost?

Five Nauta Hogar plans are available, ranging from 250 to 1,375 CUP per month, with download speeds between 1 and 4 MB/s and 30 to 120 monthly hours of connection. How much can I send per recharge and how often?

You can send between 250 CUP and 1,250 CUP per transaction, with no frequency limit. For larger amounts, make multiple consecutive recharges — balance accumulates in the recipient's account. Does the 3% cashback apply to Nauta recharges too?

Yes. Every Nauta recharge earns 3% cashback in Fonoma Credit, the same as Cubacel recharges. The credit never expires and can be applied to any future recharge type. What do I do if the Nauta credit doesn't appear after recharging?

Nauta credit almost always arrives within minutes. If it hasn't appeared after one hour:

  • Confirm the email entered ends in @nauta.com.cu or @nauta.co.cu
  • Check your recharge history in the Fonoma app to verify the send status
  • If everything looks correct, contact us via chat and we'll investigate immediately
